Welcome Back to the Conversation

Hi, this is Tom Collins from WME Blogs, back again this year to host and moderate the Eyes on the Future Blog. In last year's inaugural EOTF blog post, I started with the stated goals for holding the initial conference: to learn what was working in other regions and how we might apply those lessons here.

This year the goals are more immediate and potentially more beneficial:

to motivate attendees, with a sense of civic duty and regional pride, to get directly involved in the various efforts that are available and necessary to provide a successful path for economic and community success for everyone in the Greater Rochester Region.

Once again, my reason for being involved — and in particular hosting this blog — is that it can serve as a public forum for the EOTF dialogue and a connector to other ongoing discussions in our region.

With that in mind, my invitation to you is the same: "Let's get started. What do you think we need to do stimulate economic growth in the Greater Rochester region?"
